Welcome to the Nanotechnology Engineering Department at OSTİM Technical University!

Our department offers an innovative and forward-thinking engineering education that combines strong theoretical foundations with practical experience. In line with OSTİM Technical University’s mission of applied learning and strong industry collaboration, we provide our students with an education that is closely connected to real-world applications.

Our primary goal is to educate engineers who are intellectually curious, analytically minded, open to interdisciplinary collaboration, and motivated to contribute to society through innovation. To achieve this, we complement classroom instruction with project-based learning, hands-on research, and close engagement with industry partners.

Our curriculum covers essential areas such as nanomaterial synthesis, advanced characterization techniques, nanoscale manufacturing methods, and applications of nanotechnology in real-world systems. Throughout their undergraduate studies, our students gain both a solid academic foundation and practical technological skills that prepare them for future careers or advanced studies.

A core element of our program is the workplace education model, which begins in the first year. Through this model, students participate in structured visits to research centers, technology companies, and industrial facilities. These experiences help them explore the professional world early, observe how technologies are applied in practice, and shape their career goals accordingly.
